ConfidenceLoyalty and confidence is what a sunflower symbolizes which is what I see myself as. Someone and or something that is "bright" and stands tall. Even when there is a lot going on.

ProcessOn the left is my process into making this art piece
1. I sketched out the flower and added all the details 2. I played with each of the palettes and the watercolor markers 3.I started to paint whole flower 4.I wet the paint color I was using then applied it to the paper 5.Then I wet the brush again and began to make the colors lighter and make it a little more smooth 6.Then I began to find colors that were close together so I would be able to blend yet show that they where different. 7.I did these for all of the corners of the paper 8.The center of the flower was brown and was really watery so I took my finger to mix the color in so it stood out. |

I had two different palettes so I tried the first one which was the top two photos. The bottom two photos is the color I went with throughout the whole flower. I did this because it was brighter and drew more attention.
reflectionI really enjoyed this project because of all the colors I had to mix and play with. I also found out that watercolor is one of my favorite arts to make because its like if you make a mistake you can wet it and its fixed or you can make it go another way.
