My story is a mother’s love to her daughter is an unconditional love. Also the mom is unique and her roots come from her mom. I have a very close relationship with my mom and I think it sucks for kids that’s don’t have the chance to have a relationship with their mom. I wanted to demonstrate how. Mothers love is so powerful and can over power anything. So I took flowers and made them unique and stand out. I also liked how they used bright colors. I used different signs as you can see in my inspiration and colors that show some kind of meaning.
I was inspired by two mixed medium projects because of how it presented its self. I also like that you could get different textures. In the is art you can see flowers that are standing out with great detail but that’s are presented in different ways. I really wanted to have my art have multiple meanings so I had to do some research.

reflectionThis project was fun not easy because I tried to put meaning and symbols that you had to think about. I really enjoyed finding different t things to make give it texture. A difficult part was keeping the clay to stay because it would begin to dry and crack so I kept having to add water. Making the art was fun it played with my patients. Citing the clay and trying to give it texture was fun yet it was hard to get the clay to move and go out of place. I think this was a better project for me and relaxing because it’s something I wanted to do and that I like. After going over my project and talking it over we talked about having a art piece where when you look at it you know the meaning and the message. There shouldn't't be a explanation or have to have words that the art piece shows a mothers love. One thing I struggled with when making my piece and better mixed media
process1. First I sketched out my picture
2.I took clay and put it where the “daughter”is 3. I painted the “mother” with different colors that show 4.outlined everything in black 5. Cut out the sketch paste it on another 6.took my hot glue gun and glued the corners 7. Took the glue gun and made figures the outlined flowers and glued the bottle caps and painted the petals 8. Lastly I took a marker and outlined a symbol that showed mother love 9. I took my planning and turned it into a mixed media project 10. first I took two pieces of wood and put them together |

compare1. Giveing texture to the flowers
2.making them stand out 3. Make colors going on but doesn’t take away from meaning. |

So at first I wanted to play around and I thought I wanted to paint the clay, but then I changed my mine. I wanted it to look like the roots came from her mom by painting the bottom of her to show like the mother is starting to wear off on her. In these pictures you will see I am trying to see how he paint would turn out on clay.
